You make a compelling case in certain ways and I will need to research further to argue against it but at this stage I believe in dinosaurs.

A question: doesn't the fact that fakery keeps getting pointed out by those in the field themselves imply there must be real dinosaurs? In the virology world they all go along with viruses they're not saying, "Hey that's a real virus but that one's not," or at least not AFAIK. How can there only be fake dinosaurs if so much fakery is called out? What makes something "fake accepted as real" and another "fake recognised as fake"?

The dinosaur world reminds me of the art world - loads of shenanigans. The thing is despite the fakery in the art world we still accept that there is art created by the artists said to have created the art, we know it's not ALL fake, that would make no sense. I think the same applies to dinosaurs.

I think what emerges is that there are hoaxes within the dinosaur world - gobsmacking ones - but dinosaurs as a phenomenon are not a hoax.

What a great series! Thank you. I learned so much and enjoyed every word of it. And the comments herein, too. Operating under the assumption -- as I do -- that we live in a world of lies, and that it is up to us, each in our own way, to seek the truth (whether we ever find it fully is another question, of course) there are still a couple of interesting and unanswered points about the (now) obvious dinosaur hoax: One -- which has been pointed out in the comments -- revolves around the idea that there may indeed be, or have been, "real" dino (or something-or-other) fossils found that somehow got the ball rolling. I say this is valid because of the second question: Why giant lizards? Why not giant lemurs, or hedgehogs, or indeed, birds? Or anything at all? And why giant? (yes, I know -- it's way cooler). How about giant humans? (I'm looking at you, Smithsonian). If it's all a massive psyop and perpetual money laundering scheme -- which it undoubtedly is -- then what is it covering up or obfuscating? What might be the dangerous truth about our past that They do not want us to learn? That, to me, is where the True Truth may lie. Anyway, I will continue reading...

I dig deeper into my neighbors’ Dino find … it sounds very sketchy based on the guy who ran with the “fossils” the kids found .. it was in the quarry part, not the farm part as I originally stated

Brilliant stuff - mindblowing.

Small correction - it’s Geneva (Switzerland) not Genova (Italy).

Very interesting, as Arte Johnson used to say. I wonder what shenanigans are they up to at Area 51. That would be a great topic. Same goes for Admiral Byrd and what did he actually "discover" on his trip to the South Pole.

The Bible does not say that the Earth is In 6000 years old.

it says that man's existence specifically our breed because there are many forms that look like us that were created before us.

I have found truth in studying all of the ancient text not just the ones shoved down my throat as a child.

I'm not getting on here to argue but I am old now and I've studied the Bible my entire life and I've been in some dogmatic religious views and educated myself out of it and in all these years the Bible is still true and every prediction it's made has happened just as it said. Be careful risking eternity on prideful beliefs of Man.

The desire for there to be such mythical creatures surely plays a huge part in the psyop. Reading fantasy growing up primed me to believe.

as a kid in the 1970s and 80s, back in the era when you had to get information via word of mouth or physical printed media, I especially enjoyed traversing rabbit holes that other people found funny/offensive/unbelievable.

and yet I barely saw any of this web of data. just a few light references here and there to faked paleontology.

it would've been cool if I'd stumbled across more, I rather like adding facets to my skepticism.

thanks for doing the digging.

I LOVE your quips and sarcasm! Great medicine for my cynical soul. And you do it while making some intriguing and solid points. Bravo and thank you.

Considering the Jurassic Park franchise alone, and the fact that Ross on 'Friends' was always prattling on about dinosaurs, it becomes painfully obvious that someone is desperate to keep this mirage going.

Once in a while, the media quietly admits that there is a growing consensus among scholars that A) all species seem to have their origin in the same point in the past; and B) that past is unlikely to stretch to more than 100,000 years. In other words, intelligent design. A.k.a. God.

It always surprises me when in conservative Muslim societies, for instance, on a visit to a national park you are told it is X million years old. They, of all people, should know better.

"Late 1700's" need to demonstrate evolution. One hundred yrs out. If this is yr level of scholarship, then forget it.

I read somewhere that all the dinosaur bones in the museums etc., are all plaster made, "According to the Field Museum, most dinosaur bones you see in museums are real — real rocks of bones that is. However, oftentimes museums will also make a cast of the bones. These are made from the molds of fossil bones, or through advanced 3D printing."

A rabbit hole indeed! The big challenge facing anyone advancing a theory like Dinosaurs never existed is not the evidence (or lack of it), but a simple question that never gets answered: why would they go to all that bother?

In the case of dinosaurs, the hoax would have to be extraordinarily elaborate, involving a level of creative endeavour that dwarfs anything H. R. Giger came up with for the movie Alien. Add to that other hoaxes like Jenner's vax or Santa Claus, both from the early 19th-century, or the more recent Apollo moon landing and covid hoaxes, and we are talking about some serious man-hours in terms of planning and execution. In fact the scale of each of these 'projects' is almost unimaginable.

Yes I know these have all been long-lasting money-spinners. And some of them have also undermined traditional religious belief. But is that it?

The one I know most about is Jenner's so-called invention. But when you look at the history of variolation that preceded Jenner, it goes back several centuries, i.e. much longer than a human lifetime. So why would those involved in cooking up that hoax, for instance, devote so much time and effort to something they would never see come to fruition?

I loved this series, especially the short videos. But I can't see regular folk even considering the possibility of a dinosaur hoax until someone can credibly answer my question.
