Phenomenal research and reporting, Agent. After reading your first article on questioning the DEW narrative in Maui and then pointing to smart meters, I called my electrical company (I’m in California) and requested they change out my smart meter. They did but I had to pay $75 and then found out that it is still WIFI and connected to the grid.🤦🏻‍♀️ I intend to call the electric company and ask if there is a surge protector on the meter. And get this… My electric meter is 5 feet above my gas line/meter! Last week we discovered that the gas meter was leaking as we could smell it. It is by God’s grace we were out there and noticed it. What a nightmare we’re witnessing. Thanks for all you do. 🙏🏼

I am living in California and my husband and I do not have a smart meter. We have been in our home now for over 15 years and want to Move to the scenic foothills but unfortunately we cannot find a home for sale which does not have a smart meter. Thank you for the information about the Wi-Fi. Sneaky bastards.

My understanding is you can have them removed, here in Canada you have to pay to have them removed and pay for a person to come read it. That is the root to go if you where you buy allows this.

yes we pay quite a bit extra to keep our regular meter. We never changed our meter to a smart meter. When the guy comes out to read our meter he doesn’t even read the meter. He just sits in his vehicle outside our house and then he leaves. We live way out on a ranch and he comes quite a ways out just to sit in his car. Sometimes he eats lunch. Lol! So I’m not sure how they really read it? I think they just estimate it. But apparently according to a few commenters here even when you have the smart meter removed and replaced the new analog meter still has Wi-Fi attached to it. So it’s still a smart meter.

My smart meter is adjacent to incoming gas line. Comforting thought 😳

We had our smart meter removed, ostensibly -- now I'll have to go look to see if anything is left.
