I grow much of my food too. You can tell the difference with how you feel.

Boy you sure can. I have had emergency things for the last 2 yrs and have not been able to work my garden. The other day I used tomatoe sauce from my garden of 2 yrs ago. Man, I miss those tomatoes. So darn GOOD.

Next year God willing. Home grown is the best......everything.

When our son was 2 I gathered zucchini from the garden but needed more, so I went to the market and got a couple. When supper was served, the little one dug into the zucchini. Some pieces he ate, others he spit out. I soon found out why. Our garden ones were sweet but the store bought ones were a somewhat bitter. Homegrown is so good. Today I served a huge late-maturing tomato from the garden. My husband said it was the only part of the salad that was actually good even though other items were organic. We’ve been protecting from near frost nights with agricultural row protection clipped to the tomato cages.
