Oh, boy, Koch was only an actor to promote "science" that even simple people who are paying attention, cannot condone. Just wrote an article about it yesterday, spending eight ours on it (I have published many more, but this should suffice):

It's fun to read about other invented illnesses like tetanus and diphtheria. Of course, they are only some of the most prominent mythical illnesses. Here are some of my favorites:
