Good timing with this article Agent as I am a fairly big rice eater. I'm hoping that because I only eat ORGANIC Basmati rice, I might be avoiding some the compounds you discuss but I'll never look at RICE again the same way after what you found. Great research!

I might have missed it, but does the food labelling compel anybody in that supply chain to tell us exactly what the concentration of additives X, Y and Z are?

Toxicity is always a question of dose.

I’m not saying it’s ok to these chemicals in rice. It isn’t. But I can’t know to what extent it’s likely to be an important source of these chemicals without knowing the amounts in finished rice, as an absolute minimum.
