Good timing with this article Agent as I am a fairly big rice eater. I'm hoping that because I only eat ORGANIC Basmati rice, I might be avoiding some the compounds you discuss but I'll never look at RICE again the same way after what you found. Great research!

BornAlive's avatar

most global rice is indeed contaminated on purpose since it’s a staple food for brown and asian cultures. there ARE reputable rice growers in america and this writer would do well to provide suggestions and solutions to their ongoing hysteria lite posts. grateful

for the breakdowns but people cannot be frightened into reading crazy shit all the time about everything..

Dawn B's avatar

I am literally baking my first organic sour dough bread today to avoid the processed bread sprayed with glyphosate.

However I need to use a bit of rice flour when I knead it. Great it is only a little pesticide....

We can't escape toxins in this world.

Nothing is safe even spinach you grow yourself since they spray the skies or mess with seeds.

We can do what we can and that is enough.

Enjoy life.

BornAlive's avatar

precisely! enjoy your lovingly made bread♥️👌🏽

Dawn B's avatar

👍Haha if it turns out edible... my husband is the cook in the house. He wanted me to do the bread since he loves the kombucha and fermented veggies.

Jas's avatar

You can buy real, organic rice and blend it (vitamixes are great for this) or use muscles and grind it in a mortar & pestle to powder consistancy

corvus's avatar

Lundberg rice from California.

ClearMiddle's avatar

Not all of their rice is from California, but it's what I buy, although I've yet to sign up for their Rice Nerds Club. They contract with other growers, and some of their rice is imported. Details are on their website (lundberg.com). Their main facility is not far north of here (Sacramento).

Kent's avatar

YES thanks Corvus, that's the company I couldnt recall! I buy a lot of Lundberg's vitamin and supplements, theyre high quality and as far as i can tell are NOT made in China

Kent's avatar

Yes I know of some brands of rice that are fairly 'clean', California (of all places!!) and I think India but this is from an article I read when I researched different kinds of RICE so it may not be a good memory.

Agent131 711 will most likely read your post but he is one of the best researchers on topics most of us arent even aware of. His article today was informative. I noted too however that he didnt mention RICE that has gone bad and the funky kind of chemical taste it has. I used to buy Walmart Brown rice for its great cost but one day noticed the rice SMELLED odd while cooking. Looking up on the net, I found out from others that rice with a slightly metallic odor or taste is because the rice has spoiled and needs to be tossed.

BornAlive's avatar

i used to eat a lot of brown rice in my vegetarian macro days. then all that stopped working for me. moved into the nutrient dense lane and soaked and fermented everything from beans to veggies etc. the global issue is a serious and sad issue best dealt with by local activists of which for sure there are plenty. dr vandana shiva of note. they exist and they’re on the front lines of the madness. the best we can do in our country is eat as well as we can afford and share good intel with those who want to know. it’s astonishing how little many people want to know. it’s too much for them. that’s unfortunate because food is one of the primary ways empire weaponized and harms. but empire is unnatural and everything it manufactures is synthetic and unnatural. only LIFE is real and life is eternal and will triumph but we may lose a few humans along the way. may the most high bless and keep them🙏🏽♥️

I was at Aldi yesterday morning and a man was in there saying 'there are mice turds all over the flour and bread aisles that they refuse to do anything about!!!" He was pretty worked up about that and I asked where that is happening and he says "Walmart"!

Kent's avatar

Not sure I believe that gentleman about Walmart's bread/flour aisles....i buy most of my groceries at Walmart and have never taken note of "mice turds" but I may look from now on (LOL).......I'm also aware that WMT would do something about it if they knew, he might've been reporting his findings to the door greeter who would've done nothing about it. ALDI's another fav of mine and Trader Joes, i'll check them ALL out next time I'm shopping for staples

Born Alive you just got a hearty laugh out of me as I was just telling hubby our garden us t producing well/ very little, we’re trying to drink clean water with a Berkey water system cause city water is a nightmare. We’re trying to eat well but the cost of organic food is thru the roof in Michigan. Then there’s our news feed of depressing news from one end of the spectrum to the other. So your comment was priceless about scaring the people without some choice of recourse. We’re all in this together helping each other find the “water” so to speak. So again I appreciate your caring heart.

Mrjinx007's avatar

Make sure to boil the rice, turn off heat, rinse until water is clear.

BornAlive's avatar

Mrjinx007's avatar

Rice are usually sprayed and fortified with vitamins among other things in layers using gum for example to serve as an adhesive. Soaking rice overnight can cause these layers to be absorbed into the rice. Boiling and immediate rinsing, washes these layers off the rice surface.

There are different methods of cooking rice depending on how one prefer the texture.

Dottie's avatar

I was under the impression one was supposed to rinse rice first then cook. I’m confused now. And we did only eat CA Lundberg rice. We eat a lot of different rices so now I’m concerned

Mrjinx007's avatar

Didn’t mean to raise an alert. The sprayed material are layered and may require a bit of soaking to loosen all the “adhesive” (gum) from the rice.

Personally, I like to flavor my rice and that requires removing most the starch from the grain. That’s one of the reasons I boil and rinse it- to remove the starch out of it. Once you see the starch, it means the outer layer has been penetrated.

corvus's avatar

Wow, will do this from now on!

L AQ's avatar

Quite honestly this has nothing to do with the color or race of a person. It has to do with the antihuman agenda.

BornAlive's avatar

#facts but as in everything it always begins these days with a practice run on the indigenous.

corvus's avatar

I would not trust any "organic" rice or any organic food for that matter to be free of poison.

Take for instance, organic cherries (in North America). A person must stay out of the orchard while the cherries are being sprayed with "organic spray" for DAYS.

Anything shipped for long distances would be sprayed with something to keep it from perishing during shipping.

KaiteeO's avatar

Organic typically does not fortify. However, unless it’s brown rice, it also has no nutritional value. The nutrients are all in the bran which is removed in the white rice.

Kent's avatar

Good point. I should be buying organic BROWN basmati rice. Thanks for the reminder

Gecko1's avatar

What about Thai jasmine rice?

Dottie's avatar

That’s a white rice so I’m guessing it’s no different than any other white rice and how it’s processed.

Crixcyon's avatar

I have used Royal select blends and Royal Basmati and neither seem to have any additives listed. But who knows for sure?

Kent's avatar

Just bought a couple bags of LUNDBERG Organic Brown Rice at the local SPROUTS Store and paid the most I've ever paid for the grain but after what I've learned about rice, the price is worth it. LUNDBERG is highly regarded. Thanks for your comment.

Dr Mike Yeadon's avatar

I might have missed it, but does the food labelling compel anybody in that supply chain to tell us exactly what the concentration of additives X, Y and Z are?

Toxicity is always a question of dose.

I’m not saying it’s ok to these chemicals in rice. It isn’t. But I can’t know to what extent it’s likely to be an important source of these chemicals without knowing the amounts in finished rice, as an absolute minimum.

Palamambron's avatar

Also, current regulations make it possible to increase the amount of chemicals without changing the labelling.

🎯 Great point.

Absolutely no amount of mercury is safe but doctors and scientists would have you believe it is. Doctors are nothing but drug dealers with a license . I wouldn’t trust anything a Rockefeller doctor said. They can’t even cure an illness all they do is treat symptoms. They are useless.

Dr Mike Yeadon's avatar

Then water is toxic. Oxygen is toxic. Iron is toxic.

Wait. They’re all essential.

echidna's avatar

“Oxygen” is not essential, Air is essential. Is iron essential? or is it ‘something’ in meat and plants that we call iron (because when the meat or plant is subject to destructive chemical processes iron is the end product) the thing we actually need to be eating? I.e is the form of the iron inside the intact food completely different to the extracted form?

summer's avatar

Some years ago i heard that Basmati rice was stolen and patented by Monsanto, meaning that the people who had grown, sold and eaten it for centuries no longer had the right to claim it as theirs or even use the name, nor could we trust it when we bought it. Anybody know anything about this? I also heard a long time ago that any rice should be washed well several times before cooking, and you will notice that the rinse water is a milky white when you do this. And wasn't "vitamin A" being added to rice in the "third world" for decades, supposedly to prevent cataracts? Sheeeesh, the poisoning never ends.

HOWEVER, you can do a lot to transmute contaminated food into healthy food thru the use of frequency, as i wrote in a comment on the previous Agent article on vitamin A. This is what the lost ritual of blessing one's food was all about, and there's a lot to it once you understand energy and frequency.

Agent pointed out that i was likely thinking of the so-called "golden rice" in regards to the vitamin A rice. Don't know if it's still being pushed, nor how many people it damaged or killed.

For that matter, wine and rice from California (and probably everything else) have high arsenic content as well, just to add to the mix of traditional toxins, which are more common than one would like, anyway:

Carol Guajardo's avatar

Although I am not a big rice eater, I am wondering, at this point, what is left that is safe to eat? There are places where we can get good eggs with low pufa, like Angel Acres or their other site Nourish Food Club where we can purchase meat, cheese, and other items, but it's expensive. To get clean food costs more money, which I don't have the budget for, and I am alone.

Among all the other evil things taking place today, tampering with our food supply and supplements is extremely disheartening. We need to eat to survive.

Dawn B's avatar

Carol, just do what you can. Worry does not help and is not good for you. Just change one thing at a time. For instance, I make my own toothpaste with baking soda and little salt and a couple drops of peppermint oil according to preference. I make easy lotion bars and easy less expensive laundry detergent too. I keep adding healthy alternatives.

When my youngest was a baby I wanted her to have the best organic stuff and it made me crazy because it was impossible. I had to stop. She is now 21 and unvaxxed and I can't recall a time she ever got sick. I will say I never used a thermometer for her like I did my other 2 kids who were partially vaxxed.

We are all on this earth for a short time. People who do nothing still live to be 98 like my grandad who loved Mac and cheese and ate few veggies. He didn't smoke or drink though.

corvus's avatar

Yes, the organic stuff can drive a person insane, just like being vegan or carnivore or lacto-ovo vegetarian or just plain vegetarian. I think it's all part of the planned nonsense....to make people insane about their food. Simple meals are best, with fasting (esp. OMAD).

Carol Guajardo's avatar

I have made small changes. Personal care products like toothpaste, shampoo, homemade soaps, etc. I have made pastes with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda for brushing when I had no toothpaste. I found a company for toothpaste now, but can't always stock up on it.

I know worrying and fear of everything is detrimental to our health. So I did give up on it.

I had a friend who knew someone that drank a certain kind of tea all day long. I forgot the name of it. Both her and her daughter didn't get sick. Her daughter went from grade school through high school and she never got sick. She never missed school. The woman is a naturopath. I don't necessarily follow them, but she was helping someone who had stomach cancer and he had real bad pain running from his hips down his leg. She was able to help him with that and she showed me how to do it. He did survive, but he was going to the teaching hospitals in Chicago. His insurance did not cover it though. He would call the stuff they gave him cocktails..lol.

Roger Beal's avatar

You've discovered the inverse cost factor in foods today, rbought to you by the likes of Kraft and Mondelez et al: Pay more to get less.

You want food with ONE basic ingredient and NO additives? Pay more.

Carol's avatar

We found farms online (all over US, most ship) we signed up for emails & wait for sales. Meat, raw butter, soy free eggs & bacon is all we eat now.

Carol Guajardo's avatar

I saw several others, too. I do like Angel Acres for eggs, but they only ship 4 dozen. Fresh eggs can be left out of the fridge for awhile. I was surprised.

I also ordered from Nourish Food Club, which costs 1.00 a year. I bought some meat and raw cheese. It's not something I can do on a regular basis though.

I had watched their videos about their chickens and how they raise them. I was impressed.

Angel Acres is merged with Nourish Food Club now. It used to be a separate site for eggs.

Carol's avatar

We also joined Nourish Food Club, good eggs, but $$$. I noticed the local grocery store had raw cheese, not sure how though since our state doesn’t allow grocery stores to sell raw, so I passed. The good thing about this is the pounds are dropping & energy is up eating a proper human diet.

Carol Guajardo's avatar

Yes, the eggs are costly along with their other stuff, but it's much better food. If I could afford it, I would just order from them. Some stuff is bulk. I can't buy that because things would rot before I get to eating it. I understand they aren't just going to ship some things in single portions. I tried to order just the sour dough bread one time, and it was 18.00 just for shipping it! I didn't get it. I got it when I ordered other stuff.

Thanks to Agent’s & Medicine Girl’s research I decided to put my $ into clean food as medicine instead of expensive supplements. Especially when I learned that the supplement industry is much worth more than Big Pharma. I was buying quality researched supplements but the cost! I actually feel better w/o the supplements. I am on a fixed income and the challenge to find clean affordable food is a real challenge. I do the best I can with the resources I have and don’t stress over it anymore.

Carol Guajardo's avatar

I am also on a fixed income. To eat cleaner food is more expensive. I live in the country, so shopping here is limited. They do have a farmers market every Saturday all year. I need to get there one day. I wake up Saturday and forget..lol. They are not open all day. But I can't be sure it's cleaner if the farmers are using contaminated products or feeding their livestock the wrong foods. Not to mention vaccines.

There is supposedly a store in Austin that sells only clean foods. But it's quite a drive from where I am and my car is not reliable. Besides the fact that I hate Austin..lol.

I don't stress about it anymore. Stress is bad in itself. But it most certainly is a nightmare. No one should have to be afraid to eat. It's terrible what these demonic people have done to humanity in more ways than we can count.

Depopulation hides in places you don't look. I have been eating more rice lately since well, like who can afford to eat anymore? I don't know if it matters after 75 years. I was eating Twinkies in the early 1960's. Not too much sick. Today's Twinkies are yucky. I maybe eat one every few years. So perhaps Rice Krispies are tainted too and rice wine. Maybe the rice in China isn't fortified.

Yes, so much for "grassfed" meat products, ditto for ogranic veg grown outside. And if livestock and veg are watered with fluoridated or otherwise chemical-laced water.......... Organic veg is also okayed by the FDA to be sprayed with BTk, which is just another form of glyphosate (i wrote a long comment about this in comments on a recent Agent article).
