Have never been a fan of the air-tight homes being built today, but the air outside is no longer "fresh." Air intakes and HVAC units should be filtered the best way possible. Of course, we should wear helmeted terrasuits when leaving the house and build air locks at all points of egress.
Also, if one had a little land, could plastic refuse be buried in shallow trenches and remediating fungi grown within and on top? Does such an idea come down to types of plastic and fungi and how long such areas need to be cordoned off?
