Amazing looking book and typical for the time, with all the elaborate illustrations which, if we are to believe history, would have been somehow printed with a hand press, all the text set letter by letter onto hundreds of plates, and all the illustrations somehow imprinted on the plates as well, and all this done by candlelight, over and over again for as many copies as were made........... as we're told this was all that was available at that time due to our lack of electricity and modern printing methods. And i assume this one has the usual 66 books in it, leaving out the 77 (or maybe more) that weren't selected, and are locked up in the basement of the Vatican............
