And then you have Borlaug Hall, named for the "father of the Green Revolution."

Plus the rat poison Warfarin--also used by allopaths as a human blood thinner--was so named because the patent was held by the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF). (Back in the good old days of public-institution research...which really weren't all that good, but not as bad as today.)
