Check out Multi-Min, a supplement injection that the veterinarian wants to give the cattle whenever she does any work on them. This year I quit allowing the product on my animals. I did not know about vitamin injections to help tenderize animal carcasses. Cattle must have salt and during the spring on new growth magnesium is required. Now the animal feed nutritionists recommend mineral supplementation at $30+ a bag as compared to less than $10 for salt with trace minerals. I have a hard time believing the propaganda when those pushing a product are the ones manufacturing and selling the product.
