This mentions that the CIA transported the Shah of Iran. The CIA did much more than that, because that unconstitutional agency deposed the Shah of Iran Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in 1979, and installed its man who wasn't even Iranian, Abdullah Khomeini, into Iran two weeks later on February 1, 1979. Then President Jimmy Carter told Saddam Hussein, leader of Iraq, which is on the other side of the waterway, Shatt al Arab, that he would get back more of the waterway if he would wage war against Iran. So Saddam Hussein did. That war was really waged to destroy Iran's manufacturing capability, one of the major reasons why the elite wanted the Shah to be deposed; they don't like competition.
