I went in, it was the same as usual being moderated by mostly old folks and a few twenty to thirty somethings.
I've never noticed if it was pen, pencil, or marker they use, but the machine has never rejected my ballot.
I highly suspect, since I am not allowed to verify, that my vote may be recorded as whatever is seen was "needed" by the local data processor, or not recorded at all when I write someone in.
when I complained about voting machines being corporate managed, the old folks gave me the side eye and claimed they were locally owned and managed.
I didn't spend energy digging into researching their claim because I seriously doubt that the system is not rigged.
however, I've seen no blatant manipulation here. if there is it's most likely via the machine.
I do live in a city island in redneck-land, so the libertarian you don't mess with me I don't mess with you mentality is still prevalent 'round these parts, whether people wear a Red or Blue hat to the polls.
we even got over 40k libertarian votes in the last Uniparty constipation-vs-flaming-diarrhea presidential race. I don't think I've ever seen that many folks here vote third party. it's enough to notice but still not enough to tip the scales between the Blue and Red wings of the Party here even if all of us violated our conscience and voted for one of the turds.
