I purchased a few acres surrounded by the Mark Twain Ntnl. Forest central MO and the old oaks are rotting at the ground level and falling everywhere! I have literally run outside after hearing a huge thump to see a half a tree within feet of my camper! And my hoop house greenhouse was just touched by the small branches of a half oak I woke up and noticed on my way to water. I have started taking down those who may crush the cabin I am going to build. God forbid one of the grand oaks that surround my building pad should come down and crush my camper and other stuff! I used to lay on my bed and stare out my skylight at these beautiful trees bowing over me like a canopy. However, it looks like I need to take them down before investing in a permanent structure. And BTW, welcome to the "Woo Woo Club" I have been spelunking down the rabbit hole for decades and was known by family & neighbors as "Crazy Dave"(although my niece who lived w/me for a while said to my ex wife "Uncle Dave was right!") as I pointed out the chemtrails being laid all day on the west coast (Humboldt Co.) above Humboldt bay and by evening the sky which started blue in the am became a silver haze! Great!, just lovely;-( We need to stop this like what Reinette Senum (https://substack.com/@reinettesenumsfoghornexpress) is doing!
